GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
 

BODY PUMP: 
The most successful group fitness program in history, BODY PUMP is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body.  This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls.  Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast!

STEP:
Compelling cardio workout that shapes and tones the legs, improves co-ordination, bone density, posture and agility.  Step is suitable for anyone who wants an energetic and exciting results-oriented workout.

STEP INTERVAL:
Same awesome step class that offers bursts of cardio or toning by layering combinations to produce a well rounded class where members can have it all in one hour.  All levels welcomed.

LINE DANCE:
This 60 minute class will take you from "The Freeze" to "Boot Scoot, Boogie".  Fun for all ages!  Come and bring a friend and dance your way to great health!

CARDIO DANCE:
Come join the fun!  No partner needed!  Let the music move you!  Prior dance experience not needed.

LO IMPACT:
If you are looking for a great workout, a good time, or both, this workout is for you!  Just getting started or been exercising for years, either way, this class is for you.

Calling all teachers and nurses...be able to sweat right after work and still have time to go home and cook, clean
and do homework!  Open to members as well.  1/2 cardio PLUS 1/2 muscle=puer energy!

P.K.P.
Power/Kick/Punch..."Hi-Yah"!!!  (a.k.a. Kardio Kick & Speed Round).  Increase endurance , sharpen reflexes and decrease stress while enhancing the cardiovascular system.  This 45 minute workout combines music, energy and fitness safety with punches, strikes and kicks.  The technique and drills develop coordination, balance and power.  All levels welcome.

HAVE IT ALL:
When it comes to strength training, you can do the same type of things as cardio Workouts.  By doing compound exercises (exercises that use more than one Muscle group) with little rest between sets, you can accomplish an all Around strength training session to really target those major and minor muscles.  How is it defferent from Boby Pump?   Come and find out!

"CIRCUIT" de SOLEIL:
If you're doing the same workout you started 6 months ago, it's time to get with the program.  The circuit training program, that is.  This type of training is very versatile and provides tones of variety and calorie-burning in a short period of time.  Circuit training combines 8 - 10 exercises that are completed one right after the other, with little or no rest in between.  Once you've completed all exercises, that is considered one circuit.  5:30am - Wednesday.
