Elliot Lee

The Luton Town loan man went wrong against Lincoln, which changed Charton’s game plan at LNER stadium.

Adkins said: “I thought we were good for 20 minutes. The things that we worked on, in terms of trying to break the lines with Elliot Lee, getting to counterattack, we had three or four good chances in the first 20 minutes.

“Then Elliot left sick, so we adjusted a bit, put Charlie Kirk in 10 position, changed [Jonathan] Leko and brought Corey [Blackett-Taylor] but the game moved away from us for a little while and we were letting them out too easily.

The Republic of Ireland International was also substituted in the game against Imps. He felt his hamstrings and will now be evaluated.

Adkins said he has a calf problem and could also be a doubt for tomorrow’s game against Accrington.

Long-term absences

According to the club’s official website, Jake Forster-Caskey is back on the grass as he recovers from his ACL injury while Ryan Inniss is making good progress.

Big game

Charlton need to start picking up a few wins and Accrington’s poor form away from home gives them a shot at getting one tomorrow.

The Addicks can come out of the relegation zone with three points and if other results come in their way.
