Greenwood appointed Adrian’s head coach

ADRIAN, Michigan – College athletic director Adrian Michael Duffy has announced the hiring of Brent Greenwood as the new men’s and women’s golf coach. Greenwood is a 2014 graduate of Adrian College and has spent the past four seasons as the head coach of the club’s baseball team.

“I am very happy to announce the hiring of Brent Greenwood as a new golf coach,” said Duffy. “His knowledge of the game puts us in a good position to be successful in the MIAA. I think he will build good relationships with student-athletes and continue to develop the Adrian College golf program.”

Greenwood has been playing golf since the age of five and spent four years on the Whitmer High School golf team. In his final year he was a medalist on the second day of the City League championship and finished 10e globally.

After college, Greenwood played in many golf leagues and tournaments. At Adrian, he has assisted the men’s and women’s golf team for the past three seasons on spring trips to South Carolina.

“I am really excited and grateful to have the opportunity to lead our men’s and women’s golf teams,” said Greenwood. “Coach Williams has done a great job building the program over the past 8 years and I will look to build on its success.”

Greenwood to replace former head coach Ryan williams who supports the women’s golf program at Division I Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
