Leeds United U21 vs Oldham Athletic squad news confirmed as Crysencio Summerville starts

Mark Jackson was able to bring in a larger selection of players for Leeds United’s EFL Under-21 Trophy match with Oldham Athletic tonight.
The development team head coach named a 15-18-year-old starting XI for their Papa John’s Trophy opener against Tranmere Rovers two weeks ago.
As a result, the experienced League Two sent out the junior Whites with relative ease, increasing by three halftime goals.
An attempt to retaliate followed as the Football League opposition sat down and protected the score, but Leeds fought valiantly under the circumstances.
Several Under-23 leaders were left out of this squad a fortnight ago, many of whom had to fill the first-team substitutes bench due to injury, suspension and a crisis in the COVID-19.

With senior players gradually returning to the fold, Jackson named Crysencio Summerville, Leo Hjelde, Lewis Bate and Kristoffer Klaesson in his starting XI tonight.
Many have been involved in the young Whites’ strong start to the Premier League 2 Division 1 season, which puts Leeds Under-23 team in fourth place.
Oldham Athletic, meanwhile, started his campaign under difficult circumstances.
Fan dissatisfaction, directed at a controversial property and frequent management renewal, has contributed to a gradual decline in results since the Greater Manchester club’s takeover by Abdallah Lemsagam.
The Latics currently occupy the bottom of the Football League pyramid, 24th in League 2, and recently suffered the ignominy of a 7-0 League Cup loss to Brentford.
However, recent results suggest that a milestone has been reached, with back-to-back clean sheets in the league and a 1-0 victory over local rivals Rochdale this weekend.
Having said that, the team Leeds have named tonight are a team that should be competitive enough to get a result, perhaps even a first victory in this competition as an elite academy.
