Wigan Athletic team news as Kyle Joseph returns to squad for Crewe Alexandra clash

Wigan Athletic boss Leam Richardson has named an unchanged squad for their crucial League One clash with Crewe Alexandra.
The Latics are looking for a third straight league triumph at DW Stadium, after following last weekend’s 4-1 win over Doncaster Rovers with a 2-1 win over Sunderland in midweek.
Goals from Will Keane and Callum Lang completed an unlikely turnaround and took Wigan out of the last four.
Despite six points on their last two outings, the Latics remain in danger of relegation. Ahead of kick-off, only one place and points separate them from Northampton Town, which is in League One’s last relegation spot.
With that in mind, their clash with midfield Crewe is more important than ever and Richardson has stayed with the same XI, with the big news that Kyle Joseph is returning to the Matchday’s Squad after a three-month absence due to injury.
The forward was initially set to miss the remainder of the season, but made a welcome return for the Latics as they seek a third straight League One win.
Crewe entered the game with victory in their last four games, including a 6-0 loss to Oxford United, but held the play-offs chasing Portsmouth to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.
Alex beat Wigan 3-0 in the two teams’ last meeting in October.
Wigan Athletics: Jones, Darikwa, Tilt, Johnstone, Robinson; Ojo, Evans; Lang, Keane, Salomon-Otabor; Dodoo.
Alternates: Whelan, Clough, Gardner, Proctor, Evans, Aasgaard, Joseph.
